Dhaka, May 8 -- Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen on Thursday attended the appreciation dinner hosted by the BNP high-level delegation following its visit to China.

Ambassador Yao congratulated the delegation on the successful visit to China, noting that this visit further enhanced political mutual trust between the two sides, according to the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka.

China stands ready to work with Bangladesh to carry forward the traditional friendship, deepen exchanges on governance experience, promote high-quality development of Belt and Road cooperation, and advance the continuous development of the China-Bangladesh Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
