Dhaka, Sept. 15 -- Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on BNP acting secretary general advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Tuesday.

The meeting was held at 11am at the BNP Chairman's Gulshan office, said a press release.

During the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador greeted Rizvi with flowers and held cordial discussions on various issues aimed at further advancing the political ties and ongoing friendly relations between the two countries.

They also expressed hope that the ongoing development activities between the two countries would gain further momentum.
