Dhaka, July 29 -- The Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP) on Wednesday approved a proposal to import refined petroleum products worth an estimated Tk 16,088.52 crore.

This will be done under government-to-government (G2G) term agreements with six state-owned foreign suppliers for the July to December 2026 period.

The proposal was placed by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division at the CCGP meeting which was presided over by Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury.
