Dhaka, June 3 -- The Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP) on Wednesday approved two contracts worth over Tk 423.4 crore for the construction of 53 primary schools-cum-flood shelters in Nilphamari and Habiganj districts under a World Bank-funded climate resilience project.

The recommendation came at a meeting of the committee held at the Secretariat with Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury in the chair.
