Kushtia, Oct. 9 -- A case has been filed against 20-25 unidentified people over the attack on Nasiruddin Patwary, chief coordinator of the National Citizen Party (NCP), at the Lalon Akhra in Kushtia.

Jannatul Ferdous Tony, convener of the NCP's Kushtia district unit, filed the case with Kumarkhali Police Station on Wednesday, its Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jamal Uddin confirmed on Friday afternoon.

According to the case statement, Nasiruddin Patwary visited the Chheuriya Akhrabari in Kumarakhali upazila on October 4 and listened to Lalon songs.

Around 8:15pm, as he and his associates were leaving through the main gate, a group of unidentified people attacked them.
