Dhaka, July 19 -- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Sunday submitted its annual audited income and expenditure statement to the Election Commission (EC), reporting that its income exceeded expenditure in the last fiscal year.

A three-member BNP delegation led by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi formally submitted the audited financial report to EC Senior Secretary Akhtar Hossain at the EC Secretariat in the afternoon.

BNP announces 151-member committee for Cumilla city unit

According to the party's financial statement, BNP earned a total of Tk 22.26 crore during the fiscal year while its expenditure amounted to Tk 15.19 crore. The party currently has a surplus of Tk 6.07 crore in its fund.
