Dhaka, Sept. 22 -- BNP on Tuesday staged a protest procession in the capital's Farmgate area against what it described as a plot to destabilise the country through planned acts of anarchy.

The procession was led by BNP acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

Organised by the Agriculturalists Association of Bangladesh (AAB), the procession began from the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh and ended in front of the Farmgate Police Box.

Several hundred agriculturists, including AAB Convener Krishibid Dr Kamruzzaman Kaiser and Member Secretary Shahadat Hossain Biplob, took part in the procession.
