Dhaka, Sept. 2 -- China unit of the BNP organised a discussion meeting in Guangzhou on Tuesday to mark the 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), focusing on the party's political journey, its establishment and its role in promoting democracy and people's rights in Bangladesh.

Senior leader of China BNP Sakhawat Hossain Kanon presided over the meeting, while Asif Haque Rupu moderated it.

The speakers recalled the history of the BNP's establishment and discussed the party's 48-year political journey. They also highlighted the party's role in establishing democracy and protecting the rights of the people of Bangladesh.
