Dhaka, Oct. 13 -- BNP acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Tuesday said the BNP government is working to rebuild the country devastated by mismanagement, looting and disorder during the Awami League government.

"The BNP government is working to rebuild the country and bring it out of the dire situation created by mismanagement, looting and disorder during the Awami League government," he said addressing a discussion and awards ceremony organised by the Janadhikar Party at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh in the capital.

Rizvi said the government is working to rebuild state institutions while tackling the energy crisis and addressing the problems left behind by the previous administration.
