Dhaka, July 20 -- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain across all divisions of the country during the 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am on Monday.

"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely at most places over the Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, and at many places over the Khulna Division, with moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places across the country," said a Met Office bulletin.

The country's highest rainfall in the 24 hours until 6:00 am on Monday was recorded in Rangpur's Dimla at 101 mm.
