Dhaka, Oct. 11 -- A Dhaka court on Sunday placed four people including ANM Ayash, member secretary of Rashtra Sanglap Forum, on remand in a case over the attempt to deface a graffiti of Rabindranath Tagore on a wall in front of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Jashita Islam placed Ayash, and his associate Sakibul Hasan on a three day remand each.

Besides, the court also placed two more accused-Sujon Mia and Marzia Khandaker Rimi on a two-day remand each.

Earlier, sub-inspector of Shahbagh police station Abdul Gaffar Himel produced them before the court with a 10-day remand prayer.

Earlier in the day, they were were sown arrested in the case.
