Dhaka, Aug. 9 -- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members on Sunday foiled an alleged attempt by India's Border Security Force (BSF) to push three people, including two women, into Bangladesh through the Jibannagar border in Chuadanga.

According to a BGB press release, the incident occurred around 3:10am near border pillar No. 70/2-S in the Madhabkhali area under Jibannagar upazila.

Members of the BSF under its 32 Battalion allegedly attempted to push the three people into Bangladesh through the border.

A patrol team of the Madhabkhali Border Outpost (BOP) under BGB's Maheshpur Battalion (58 BGB) spotted them before they could enter Bangladesh and prevented them from crossing the zero line.
