Dhaka, July 18 -- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Director General (DG) Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui visited Cox's Bazar and adjoining areas on July 17-18 to review border management, operational preparedness and humanitarian assistance activities.

During the visit, the BGB chief assessed the force's ongoing border security operations and was briefed on the overall security situation along the Bangladesh-Myanmar border.
