Dhaka, June 25 -- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Thursday destroyed a huge cache of seized narcotics worth over Tk 10.82 crore in Dinajpur ahead of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2026.

The "Drug Destruction Ceremony-2026" was held at the training ground of the Dinajpur Sector Headquarters, marking the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, which falls on June 26.

The destroyed items included Phensedyl, Phensigril, Phensigrip, Fairdyl, Eskadyl, MKDyl, foreign liquor, local liquor, liquor-based juice, yaba tablets, Kupijesic injection, various narcotic injections, narcotic tablets, cocaine, heroin, Tapentadol tablets, Buprenorphine tablets, Eskaf syrup, RSCap, Un...
