Dhaka, Sept. 30 -- Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has sought detailed information regarding the bank accounts of content creator Salman Muqtadir.

Letters in this regard were sent to all banks and financial institutions on Wednesday, according to sources.

Officials from several banks confirmed receiving the letter.

In the letter, BFIU requested comprehensive details on accounts held under Salman Muqtadir's name, including account opening forms, Know Your Customer (KYC) documents, transaction statements, and other related records.

The institutions were instructed to send the requested data to the BFIU within half an hour.
