Dhaka, June 26 -- China has said it stands ready to work with Bangladesh to carry out high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, further align development strategies and advance the development of China-Myanmar-Bangladesh Economic Corridor for greater regional connectivity.

President Xi Jinping emphasised that China adheres to the policy of fostering an amicable, secure and prosperous neighborhood and the principle of amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness, said the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs as President Xi Jinping met with Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Friday.
