Dhaka, July 14 -- member delegation from volunteer organisation BD Clean paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Tuesday.

During the meeting held at the Prime Minister's Office in the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, they discussed the group's ongoing efforts to build a cleaner Bangladesh, protect the environment and raise public awareness, according to a release issued by the Prime Minister's Press Wing.

The delegation was comprised of former Chief Coordinators Champa Akter and Zahirul Islam Robi, and current Chief Coordinator Masudur Rahman.

State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Mir Shahe Alam was also present at the meeting.
