Dhaka, Sept. 22 -- Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCCI) President Mohd Khorshed Alam has highlighted the potential for Chinese technology and investment to support Bangladesh's renewable energy and wider energy needs.

Speaking at a dialogue on Monday, he encouraged greater Chinese investment in Bangladesh while highlighting export opportunities for Bangladeshi home textiles, RMG, leather, seafood and light engineering products in the Chinese market.

The BCCCI hosted the Bangladesh-Yunnan Trade and Investment Dialogue in Dhaka, bringing together more than 30-member Chinese business delegation and Bangladeshi business stakeholders to explore new avenues for trade, investment and long-term cooperation.
