Dhaka, Sept. 1 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has suspended three individuals, including former Director Mokhlesur Rahman, over allegations of corruption and match-fixing during the 12th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

The BCB announced the suspensions in a news release on Tuesday and gave the accused 15 days to respond to the charges.

Mokhlesur, a former director of the board led by Aminul Islam, faces allegations of trying to influence the outcome, progress or conduct of BPL matches, or being involved in efforts to fix matches.

He is also accused of encouraging or helping others involved in the tournament to take part in corrupt activities.
