Bangladeshi killed in Houthi strike in Saudi Arabia
Dhaka, Oct. 5 -- A Bangladeshi national was killed in a missile or drone strike carried out by the Houthis on an Aramco facility in the Al Khurais area of Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province on Sunday, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Md Sajib Hossain, a resident of Cumilla district. Further details were not immediately available.
The ministry expressed deep shock and sorrow at his death and strongly condemned the attack. It also conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
It said the Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia has already contacted the deceased's family and the employer and is providing necessary assistance.
