Bangladeshi expat dies in Dubai road accident
Cumilla, May 26 -- A Bangladeshi expatriate has succumbed to injuries he suffered in a road accident in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The deceased was identified as Md Nur-e-Alam, 32, son of Ayet Ali of Gobindapur village in Burichang upazila of Cumilla.
Family sources said the accident occurred on May 18 while Nur-e-Alam and 11 other workers were returning from work in a company microbus.
A fuel-laden vehicle reportedly hit the microbus from behind, leaving several passengers critically injured.
The injured were admitted to a local hospital, where Nur-e-Alam died on Monday morning while undergoing treatment.
Three deaths have so far been reported in the incident.
