, Nov. 1 -- day Bangladesh Solar Expo 2026 will begin in Dhaka on Tuesday as the government steps up efforts to expand solar power generation, attract private investment and promote rooftop solar installations.

The expo will be held on November 3-4 at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre, jointly organised by the Power Division under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources and the Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL).

The Prime Minister is expected to attend the opening ceremony as the chief guest and visit different stalls and exhibitions, according to a press release.

The expo's theme is 'Make Every Inch of Rooftop Count, Increase Income through Solar Power'.
