, Feb. 26 -- Bangladesh's economy grew by 3.49 per cent in the 2024-25 fiscal year, according to the final estimate of gross domestic product (GDP), lower than the provisional estimate of 3.97 per cent.
The latest figure of the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) also shows a slowdown from the 4.22 per cent growth recorded in FY24, according to official data released on Wednesday. It was 5.78 percent in 2022-23 fiscal.
At current prices, the size of the economy stood at Tk 55,15,062 crore (USD 456 billion) in FY25, up from Tk 50,02,654 crore (USD 450 billion) in FY24.
