Dhaka, July 14 -- The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) on Tuesday distributed non-food items (NFIs) to 700 waterlogged households in Kalshi, Mirpur, as part of its ongoing humanitarian response to support communities affected by prolonged waterlogging.

The assistance was distributed by Prof. Dr. Md. Rafiqul Kabir, Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, in the presence of Dr. Abu Md. Mofakhkharul Islam (Rana), Treasurer, Faruk Uddin Bhuyan, Board Member, and Dr. Jamil Ahmed, Board Member of the Board of Managing Committee.

The distributed relief items included essential non-food items to help affected families meet their immediate humanitarian needs.
