Dhaka, Sept. 28 -- Bangladesh have already crashed out of their maiden appearance at the FIFA Asean Cup, having looked distinctly mediocre against East Asian opponents again, even though most observers agreed they had shown some improvement in their second Group A fixture on Monday, losing 1-0 against Singapore in Jakarta.

Earlier a dreadfully colourless performance from Bangladesh saw them crashing to a 3-0 defeat against Malaysia at the same venue in their opening fixture on Wednesday.
