, April 9 -- Textiles and Jute Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir on Thursday said Bangladesh exported raw jute to 30 countries and jute goods to 138 nations during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 fiscal years.
In response to a query from ruling party lawmaker from Khulna-5 Mohammad Ali Asgar, he provided a detailed breakdown of the sector's export performance.
The minister noted that raw jute was exported to several major markets, including China, Iran, Spain, Belgium, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia, India, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, Denmark, Switzerland, South Korea, Russia, Poland, Vietnam, Nepal, Tunisia, Thailand, Malaysia, Austria, France, Latvia, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia.
