Bangladesh delegation to leave for Doha Tuesday to convey condolences at ex-Qatari Emir's death
Dhaka, July 13 -- A Bangladeshi delegation, led by Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, is scheduled to leave for Doha on Tuesday to express Bangladesh's solidarity and convey condolences to the Emir of Qatar, the Royal Family and the brotherly people of Qatar at the death of country's former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
As a mark of respect for the late former Qatari Emir, the Bangladesh government will also observe a half-day state mourning on Thursday, officials said.
