Dhaka, March 19 -- Bangladesh reiterated its support for the uninterrupted and lawful navigation of vessels in accordance with international law including the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).

Bangladesh urged meaningful engagement among all concerned parties to pursue a peaceful resolution of the ongoing crisis through constructive dialogue and diplomatic efforts.

It made the call at the 36th extraordinary session of IMO Council on the Middle East crisis.
