, Sept. 26 -- Bangladesh and the United States have signed a strategic agreement on civil nuclear cooperation, marking a new step in bilateral cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear technology.

Prime Minister's Adviser for Science and Technology Rehan Asad signed the agreement on behalf of Bangladesh while US Secretary Jacob Helberg signed it on behalf of the US on September 25, the BNP media cell said in a post on its verified Facebook page.
