Dhaka, Sept. 12 -- State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj has said necessary alignment will be introduced between Bangla and English medium curricula to bring Bangladesh's education system up to global standards.

He said students, regardless of their medium of education, must have a common minimum standard of foundational knowledge, skills and learning outcomes.

"To achieve this, coordinated initiatives involving all types of educational institutions, both public and private, will be taken in four key areas-curriculum, infrastructure, teacher training and technology," he said.
