Dhaka, Oct. 5 -- A Dhaka court on Monday granted bail to Major General (retd) Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury in a case filed over the attack, vandalism and looting at a New Gini Properties housing project, including at content creator Salman Mohammad Muqtadir's 'Brownfish' Studio, in the South Manikdi area of the capital.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Aminul Islam Junayed passed the order after hearing a bail petition filed by the defence.

The court granted him bail on a Tk 2,000 bond until the next scheduled date, according to his lawyers.

The next date for submitting the investigation report in the case has been set for October 28.
