, June 10 -- Actor Arjun Rampal has spoken about what he described as the "darkest phase" of his life, revealing that he was dealing with a failing marriage at the same time his mother was diagnosed with cancer.

In a recent interview on YouTube talk show Cancelled to Crown, Rampal said the period left him feeling deeply isolated and emotionally drained.

"I think the loneliest I have ever felt is when I was not connected with myself the way I am today," he said, adding that his personal relationships were falling apart while he was struggling internally.
