Dhaka, Sept. 6 -- Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen on Sunday attended the closing ceremony of the "8th China Ambassador Cup Wushu Championship-2026" and presented awards to the winning teams.

More than 600 people attended the event, including State Minister for Youth and Sports Md. Aminul Haque, President of Bangladesh Wushu Federation Md. Saiful Islam Bhuiyan, participating athletes, and Wushu enthusiasts.

Ambassador Yao noted that Wushu originates from China and belongs to the world, embodying the spirit of pursuing excellence and self-improvement, as well as the wisdom of "harmony in diversity" and the concept of "ceasing hostilities through martial arts."
