Dhaka, Aug. 1 -- The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the 'Law and Order Coordination Council' (LOCC), formed in view of maintaining the law and order and safe citizen life, was held today, Friday, at the LOCC office in the city's Gulshan Police Station.

The meeting unanimously elected Barrister Omar Sadat as the President and Mr. Shamsul Arefin as the Secretary General for the term 2026-2028.

This platform is being operated by the joint initiative of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara and Niketan Societies and Gulshan Youth Club.
