Dhaka, Aug. 24 -- Implementation of Annual Development Programme (ADP) stood at 0.69 percent in the first month of the fiscal year, virtually unchanged from the same period a year earlier, according to the report of the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED).

Government agencies and ministries spent Tk 2,111.18 crore from the ADP allocation in July 2026, against Tk 1,684.66 crore during July 2025, the IMED report showed.

Although the implementation rate remained unchanged, the amount of expenditure increased by Tk 426.52 crore year-on-year, reflecting the larger development budget.
