Jhalakathi, March 13 -- The Anti Corruption Commission has filed a case against 11 police personnel including four inspectors for allegedly embezzling Tk 3.94 cr by creating fake ration cards at the police ration centre in Jhalakathi Police Lines.

ACC's Pirojpur Integrated District Office by Assistant Director Md Zakir Hossain filed the case on Thursday afternoon.

According to the case statement, the accused created 252 fake ration cards and withdrew ration goods fraudulently from the police ration centre between 2013 and December 2021, misappropriating a total of Tk 3.94 crore.
