Dhaka, Aug. 24 -- Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain has said a plan has been taken to establish a health hub for every three unions as part of decentralisation of healthcare services across the country.

"There will be five-tier healthcare services. As part of this initiative, a plan has been taken to establish a health hub for every three unions, while a Health Wellbeing Centre for every three wards of the union," he said.

The minister made the announcement, while talking to reporters during a surprise visit to the Naogaon Sadar Hospital on Sunday, said a PID handout on Monday.
