Rajbari, Aug. 20 -- A mobile court in Goalanda upazila of Rajbari has seized 40 sacks of fertiliser and fined a BCIC fertiliser dealer Tk 40,000 for selling fertilizer outside his designated area.

The mobile court conducted the drive at the fertiliser dealership point of Chicken Market of Goalanda Bazar on Wednesday afternoon.

Goalanda Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Md Muntasir Hasan Khan conducted the mobile court and imposed the fine.

Upazila Agriculture Officer Syed Raihanul Haider was present during the drive.

When the fertiliser was being taken from Goalanda to Khan Khanapur area of Rajbari Sadar upazila for sale outside its designated area it was intercepted at Bhagulpur during the drive.
