Dhaka, Sept. 8 -- Four Bangladeshi expatriates were killed in a road accident in Saudi Arabia while travelling from Taif to Jeddah on Monday night.

The accident occurred when an Innova car lost control on the Riyadh-Taif highway, around seven kilometres after Ridwan Bridge towards Al-Hawiyah.

The victims were identified as Karim Uddin, Khalid Mia, Amin Mia and Shah Alam, all hailed from Sylhet.

Among them, Karim Uddin and Khalid Mia were residents of Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet, according to the Ministry of Overseas Employment and Expatriate Welfare.

The bodies are currently kept at Al-Muwayh Hospital in Saudi Arabia.
