3rd Int'l Indigenous Language Journalism Conference begins in Kathmandu
Dhaka, Aug. 9 -- day 3rd International Indigenous Language Journalism Conference-2026 began in Nepal's capital Kathmandu on Sunday, bringing together journalists, media professionals and researchers involved in indigenous language-based journalism from around 30 countries, including Bangladesh.
The conference, which will continue until August 12, is being held under the theme, "Indigenous Language Journalism for Cultural Diversity, Climate Justice and Inclusive Democracy," said a media statement.
