Chandpur, Aug. 7 -- one administrative officers, formerly known as Union Parishad Secretaries, working in different UPs in Chandpur have been transferred according to an order on Thursday.

The Local Government Branch of the district administration issued the order assigning the officers to new workplaces across the district's eight upazilas. The order was signed by Md Ershad Uddin, acting deputy director of the Local Government Branch at the Deputy Commissioner's Office, Chandpur.

It said that in the public interest and with the approval of the appropriate authorities, 31 UP administrative officers have been transferred and posted to various union councils.
