Sylhet, Aug. 22 -- Four people, including three family members, were killed and three others injured when an oil tanker lorry collided with a CNG-run autorickshaw in Osmaninagar upazila of Sylhet on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased were autorickshaw driver Lalon Mia, 25, son of Farid Mia of Mohammadpur Darka village in Osmaninagar, and Niamat Ali, 35, his wife Azufa Begum, 30, and their eight-year-old daughter Maria.

The injured, including a child, were taken to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Their condition was reported to be critical.

The accident occurred in the Brahmangram area of the upazila around 2:30pm.
