, March 31 -- At least three children have died of measles in Chandpur as the outbreak continues to grow, with 22 infected children currently receiving treatment at Chandpur Sadar General Hospital.

According to the Civil Surgeon's Office, a total of 28 children have been admitted to different hospitals across the district due to measles. The three deaths have caused concern among parents in the area.

Latest health department data shows that Chandpur Sadar General Hospital has the largest number of patients, with 22 children under treatment. In addition, Hajiganj Upazila Health Complex is treating seven children, Matlab North Upazila three, and Kachua Upazila two children.
