Rangpur, Aug. 15 -- 13 members have arrested three individuals in connection with the murder of rickshaw garage owner Abdur Rahman in Rangpur city.

The elite force claims the murder was a planned act stemming from long-standing disputes over marriage, divorce, and financial transactions. The arrests were made during raids conducted within 24 hours of the incident.

The arrestees were identified as Dulal Mia, 45, of Mahiganj, Firoza Begum, 55, of Lalmonirhat, and Rezaul Islam, 55.

Biplob Kumar Goswami, Additional SP, Senior Assistant Director of RAB-13, the suspects provided significant information regarding the murder plot during initial interrogation.
