Gazipur, June 10 -- At least 24 students of Uttara University were injured after a bus carrying them overturned on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway at Rajendrapur in Gazipur on Wednesday afternoon.

According to a post made on the verified Facebook page of the university, 23 of the injured students received treatment at a local hospital and were later discharged following medical advice.

Another student, who sustained serious injuries, was taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.
