, Oct. 11 -- Police have arrested two people from Khilgaon area of the capital in connection with their suspected involvement in the murder of auto-rickshaw driver Jony.

The arrestee was identified as Mehedi Hasan Bappi, 28 and Nur Alam Barek, 24.

A team of Police bureau of Investigation (PBI) arrested Bappi from Kadamtoli area on October 9, said Superintendent of Police SM Mostain Hossain, while speaking at a press briefing held at PBI Khilgaon, Banasree office on Sunday.

Following the confessional statement of Bappi, police arrested Barek from the same area on October 10 (Saturday).
