Dhaka, March 26 -- A total of 18 Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) of the Bangladesh Army holding the rank of Master Warrant Officer have been granted honorary commissions as lieutenants on the occasion of Independence and National Day.

"On the occasion of the 26th March, the Bangladesh Army proudly awards honorary lieutenant commissions to 18 Master Warrant Officers in recognition of their dedication and service," said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement.
