Savar, Oct. 22 -- year-old boy died due to alleged medical negligence during a routine nasal polyp surgery at a private hospital in Savar on Wednesday afternoon, triggering vandalism of the medical facility by his aggrieved relatives.

The deceased was identified as Abraham, 11, son of Alamin from Maniknagar under Singair area in Manikganj district.

According to Abraham's uncle Liton Mia, he was admitted around 11:00am Wednesday to Abbas Specialized Hospital Limited in Genda, founded by specialist Dr. Abbas Uddin.
