Dhaka, Sept. 22 -- Artist Suborno Chakraborty Tonmoy's first solo painting exhibition, 'Splendor of Green', opened at La Galerie of Alliance Francaise de Dhaka on Tuesday, showcasing artworks inspired by leaves, flowers and grass.

Curated by Sumon Wahed, the exhibition explores the varied forms, structures, colours and subtle rhythms of the natural world through Tonmoy's paintings.

Eminent artist Jamal Ahmed, Honorary Professor of the Department of Drawing & Painting at the Faculty of Fine Art, Dhaka University, and Professor Sheikh Afzal Hossain of the same department attended the opening ceremony as distinguished guests.
