
India, July 24 -- From filming TikToks (33%) to keeping up with your daily step count in the air (24%) new research from Booking.com reveals the modern in-flight habits frustrating passengers most - as travellers become increasingly divided over what's acceptable behaviour at 30,000ft.
Modern In-Flight Habits Testing Patience
- Research shows passengers are increasingly treating planes like their living rooms:
- 42% annoyed by people leaning over them for window photos.
- 33% irritated by TikTok filming.
- 23% frustrated by mid-flight manicures.
- Nearly half (44%) feel flyers are "too comfortable" at 30,000 ft, yet 67% admit they behave the same as at home.
Food Offenders
- Strong-smelling meals top the list of irritations (43%).
- Worst culprits: sushi (38%), garlic dishes (32%), boiled eggs (31%).
Comfort vs Etiquette
- 76% say comfort is their top priority, especially on long-haul flights.
